PURPOSE & COMPANY STRUCTURE
PING is a spin-off company of EUnet
Belgium . It focuses exclusively on the private consumer market,
offering cheap access to the Internet before or after working hours. It is
established as a Naamloze Vennootschap/Société
Anonyme.
2
PRICING
PING costs 900 BEF per month, VAT included. During non-office
hours, this is a flat fee: there is no additional connection charge per minute
nor a volume charge per Megabyte. During office hours, you will pay an
additional charge of 12 BEF per minute. Office hours are: Monday through
Friday, 09h00 - 17h00. Weekends and legal Belgian holidays have no office
hours.
There is a one-time startup fee of 1000 BEF. This includes the setup of
your account and your mailbox, and a diskette with software (for Windows
or for Apple Mac) and a comprehensive manual.
3
SUBSCRIPTION & BILLING
The minimum subscription period is 3 months, with an unsubscription
period of one month. You have to pay at the beginning of the 3-month
period. Your subscription will be silently continued until you request
explicitly to end your subscription, at least one month before the end of a 3-
month period.
Billing will only be done to private persons: no corporations or
companies. Invoices will be sent by email. On request we will send them on
paper.
4
SPECIAL SITUATIONS
Users who don't need our software will only pay a one-time startup fee of
500 BEF instead of 1000 BEF. Existing individual EUnet clients (no
companies) wanting to migrate to PING do not have to pay any startup
fee.
5
PRODUCTS
PING offers only one product: a PPP connection, offering full access to
the TCP/IP Internet. With the software on our diskette (Eudora and
Netscape, Windows or Apple Macintosh versions) you can use email, the
World Wide Web, ftp, Usenet news and gopher. Additional software will be
available on our server.
6
WWW HOME PAGES
PING users will have the opportunity to put their own WWW home
pages online without any charges, for a limited amount of 50 K.
7
NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
PING uses the network
infrastructure of EUnet Belgium , with access points in 02, 03, 09, 011, 016, 056, 081. An access
